With the 17974 pipes and their 233 stops, the organ in Passau’s St. Stephen’s Cathedral is considered the largest Catholic church organ in the world. The overall layout of the five organ works, which can be played together from a main playing table, is considered a technical marvel. For visitors from all over the world the “Domorgel” is a “must” when staying in Passau.

Noon organ concerts in the High Cathedral of St. Stephan in Passau
From 2 May to 31 October, except on Sundays and public holidays, the world-famous Domorgel can be seen daily in concert. The musicians will play a concert lasting about half an hour, during which the sound possibilities of the organ system will be presented with a broad spectrum of organ music of various centuries.
On Sundays and public holidays there are no organ concerts, but the organ can be heard during the liturgical celebration.

Evening Concerts in the High Cathedral of St. Stephan in Passau
Alternating with the “Spiritual Evening Concerts” will be held every Thursday at 19:30 (except public holidays) organ concerts from 2 May to 31 October.
